WHO I AM
BIO
My name is Paul Ziadé. I am a university instructor, researcher, and consultant. Prior to joining academia, I spent four years as an analyst in the Canadian nuclear industry.
I obtained my BASc and MEng degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Waterloo. I completed a PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto, where I specialized in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), transitional aerodynamic flows, and flow control.
I joined the Department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Calgary in September 2016 as a tenure track instructor. I teach courses in aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, engineering design, and dynamics. In addition, I collaborate on several research projects in academia and consult with industry in a wide range of fields.
